Updated for RC and RTM

Are you a lucky LightScribe owner? Well, it's time you actually make use of that extra money you payed for this feature.
Introducing the Windows 7 Beta label, based on real photos it looks almost exactly as the original, no need to mark your win7 disc with a marker, you can have your very own original looking disc! Show this to non experts and say that you are a beta tester and you received this from microsoft :D

All information on the preview and in the readme, but I'll mention this again - you need a lightScribe disc and a lightscribe burner+software for this to work!

Credits to Sala91 for high quality images

Notice: The preview is merely a reference rendering, the result might look better\worse depending on the quality of the lightscribe disc you purchased.

I used this to create a sort of Windows 8 Developer's Preview Lightscribe Label. Very nice work.

The part number is wrong in the x64 RTM x15-65922 but overall great works I am also having the alignment issue with the letters on the left.

Anybody know what font is so I can correct the part number?

Will someone please tell me how they are able to get the image files to only print the white letters, logos, and symbols onto my DVD.

I know how to use the lightscribe software and I have Adobe CS3. I tried making the black background tranparent, but for some reason none of the letters show up when I print, only the DVD-Rom image show up.

A step by step would be good.

Just one little detail. There is a typo on the rtm.psd, which fortunately isn't there on the final label. illegal needs two "l" ;)

I wasted one DVD by not verifying :(

This is a great label. I just tested it it on a lightscribe CD-R, and I noticed the text on the right side of the disc is maybe three millimeters too close to the center of the disc. I'm not sure if the DVDs and CDs are slightly different, though, and if that could be why it seems a bit close on my end.
Otherwise, fantastic work! I like having a slick way of labeling my OS shit. =D

If you are fortunate enough to have Photoshop, you can fix it by yourself or someone else could do it for you.

Excellent work, very professional.

I could use your help on a few things. I notice that the image above uses light color lettering and the background looks untouched. However, from the images you have supplied with the PSD file, the white lettering is on a black background. What steps did you take to burn just the white lettering onto the DVD without the black background?
