the best Game tht comes with vista wasn't ported to xp because it uses DirectX10 (how strange is that?). so i've found a very similar game and it is called Brutal chess Download [link]
And it looks like it works on XP and OSX

It lacks features like take back a move etc. Plus I don't think its as good as Chess Titans.

I never played chess titans but i hope its better than this.
