Installation:

For wmp11 Beta 2 only

You need a few things. First off all the great modified wmploc.dll and the official wmploc.dll. This one you can find in your system32.

Download Reshacker from [link]

Open both files with Reshacker. Somewhere below you see an map called "Version Info". Copy the text from the official to the modified wmploc.dll. Select the option "compile script" and then save it.

Make sure you have a copy of the original file.

replace the official file with the modified file. When you start wmp, you will see the new look.
There is only one problem afterall. Because the windows file security, the file will be replaced after closing wmp. The second time you start wmp, you will see the old look. That means you have to deactivate the windows security. I dont know the option for that in the registry, but there are al lot of tweaking programs that can do the job.

If it still doesn't work. please tell me.

alex have you noticed play button hovering style in orignal skin resource of wmp11 and a modified skin resource of wmp11? there is a change notice it!

ResHacker, just edit wmploc.dll (C:\windows\system32 C;\program files\windows media player) BITMAP files with paint! :)
