We finally released the long awaited 5th version of Omnimo. Now I don't need to tell you there are countless improvements in this release. Since I can't put any more text here, visit our official blog for the release details:

Enjoy! And let us know if there are any bugs, we'll try to fix them real quick :)

The original Windows 8 Start Screen for Windows XP/Vista/7

—WHAT IS OMNIMO———————————————————————————————

It’s a Windows Phone 7 inspired multifunctional interactive desktop information center based on rainmeter. This suite will turn your desktop into a productive and attractive workarea , delivering only the information you need. Every interactive tile gives you information at a glance, and can be easily customized to your needs. Unlike the initial Metro design, Omnimo gives you limitless customization potential, you can customize just about every aspect of it!

—WHAT'S INCLUDED———————————————————————————————

Setup.rmskin - self extracting installation file for rainmeter containing the suite
ClearVS - a clear taskbar visual style

—HOW TO INSTALL———————————————————————————————

Make sure you have Rainmeter 2.2 or higher installed, then just double click the Setup.rmskin file, the extraction might take a minute or two, after that you'll be guided by the Intro.

There might be some last minute bugs. Report any issues you might encounter in the comments or by email: omnimosupport[at]

Omnimo UI 1.01 for Rainmeter by =fediaFedia This was suggested by many people for a DD. Sadly I lost my notes so accept my apologies for not naming suggesters. I don't even need to give a reason why this deserves a DD. It's self explanitory but I will say this..... IT'S FREAKING AWESOME! ( Featured by mrrste )
I have never been a big fan of Rainmeter (no offence) I have used it but never got a chance to stick with it and the reason I used to believe was rainmeter is not what I want. But I was wrong, totally wrong, when I came across this skin Omnimo for rainmeter, I felt like whole windows mobile 7 on my desktop, with so realistic feelings, so origanlity in this work and more over the finishing has been done impressively. Well fediaFedia was already doing a wonderful job before but with this masterpiece he out did what I expected from him.

Cheers to you mate.

Using Rainmeter was never something that ever really occurred to me...
Until I was met with the Omnimo project.
"Wow" is the only word I can really use to describe it.
It's sharp, it's sleek, fits in with practically any desktop, performs well, the list goes on and on.
The new addition of Add-ons in Omnimo 3 is really the icing on the cake for the Omnimo project, (Rainmeter 1.4 helps with that too) a massive library of constantly updating modules in the same slick style of the WP7 UI
My only complaints are that sometimes the text can spill over the panels and, since the update, the user picture has been squashed out of it's square shape by the user-name bar.

Apart from that, top project and I can't wait to see it evolve further.

I get a "malicious file" and my computer automatically deletes it because of it?
sad, this is so beautiful :/

I fixed it, for some reason it didn't like the archive on copy. The ones on softpedia and mediafire should be okay.
How can you change all the panel sizes at once? I read a reply that said you could, but did not say how?

"DO NOT REPLY" Accidentally put on wrong page
This is so awesome! But I have a question: I would like to use the recyclebin panel, but I don't see any images? Shouldn't there be an 'empty' and an 'full' icon?

Which version of Windows?
How do i set up the weather forecast for my own town and country?
fediaFedia Oct 12, 2013  Professional Interface Designer
You can look for a Weather Code as provided in the instructions, or wait a few days and get Omnimo 6...
Can't get the bing news feed to work. Otherwise Amazing
