The original VS was done by Vathanx: [link] This is a port for windows 7

PERMISSION: NEXTlevel is skinswingers meaning it can be edited without permission but with credits and submitted under the same license.

Release is still beta, there are quite a few bugs.

BIG thanks to balderoine for the idea and for the awesome preview

I've been using this theme off and on since you've released it, and it's a good port of NeXTLevel. However, it would be much appreciated if you could fix the remaining bugs, specifically the original taskbar buttons so we can use the non-AT style without clashing.

Thanks Fedia - love lots of your work.

Are you ever going to make this available for WindowBlinds? I just got it for 7, and the start bar in the version of this skin included with Aero Ultimate is really buggy. I hope you'll make a version of this for WB7 so we can use it, too.

Why? I made a windowblinds version only because there is no aero on XP, there is no point of making it for windowblinds vista/7

because I like the look of NEXTlevel, and windowblinds 7 is an easy way to not only apply this style, but also to modify it, should I ever want to do so. This method which you have presented me is too permanent and time-intensive to apply in the highly scheduled world that is my own. It's because it's quicker and easier for the end user, who is your target audience in the end. Plus, I don't want it for the aero look, but for its overall uniqueness and form, its attractiveness and the fact that it's not quite like anything else out there. Its sleekness works nicely to make my PC look amazing, but this facade is broken when one opens the Start menu or right-clicks a taskbar icon, which are the two most obvious glitches, as the start menu not only breaks and juts out of itself, but it doesn't even have a Shut Down button. If one right-clicks a taskbar icon, one can not even see the options listed, even if one hovers over them. I'm sure you fixed them in this port, but, again, to install something so complex is not only risky and time consuming, but it also leaves me without the program which I paid for with my dwindling college fund; WindowBlinds 7.

All in all, it's just a good idea. Plus, it opens your audience of downloaders up to those who are not as tech savvy as you most certainly are. Please, whatever your conclusion, consider all these things and reply to this message. Thank you.

Err, actually msstyles is way more simpler and easier to use than windowblinds. You patch the uxtheme once with 1 click, and you can use all visual styles there are, it surely takes less time than installing Impulse, then downloading WB etc, plus it's totally free. The audience for msstyles is far greater than windowblinds, that's why i stopped making them. Not to mention skinstudio has tons of bugs making many things in this VS impossible on windowblinds. Did I also mention that I don't have windowblinds?

You dont understand - msstyles is the default visual style format, just like aero. It's the native system theme, you can download them from deviantart, or any other site which has themes. Windowblinds styles are miniroty, not msstyles.
