The idea is fine, but I think there are too many texts. I do not like the font style you used in this, anyway the idea is good.

Haha Alex, I'd imagine you already know this but the typography's quite miserable in this one. The vertical spacing's all off and the drab fonts seem picked blindly off a list of run-of-the-mill boring types. There's no color correction, and the placement is tasteless. Pardon me if I'm being a little harsh but this is just not too hot bro. It would take 5 minutes to come up with something better.

Right you are! I actually spent no more than 5 minutes on this. However for a non-designer this appeared to be infinitely more impressive than the gadgets one (showed to a bunch of friends). It's funny how the opinions differ so much in real life and internet.
