Courier for rainmeter concept by fediaFedia Courier for rainmeter concept by fediaFedia

Project cancelled (delayed?) to make way for Omnimo

About time I submit something...

Anyway, I got this idea to make a microsoft courier homescreen UI for rainmeter, tell me what you think about this!

Update: small changes. Added netbook-like fences panel just for show.

Nice shot and cool concept, I like it :)

I don't think the grey background behind the headings fit very well. Maybe you could change it to a darker gray or black and add perhaps a shadow to enhance it moar.

aww I went to download, I thought this was a completed project lol. I love it, you should make it :) idk about the orange for the clock and date (I bet that's just how the courier looks) but other than that I really love it. I'd definitely use it :)

It's almost done, except for the messages thing, I'll probably need some help with that. And no, the orange part was my improvisation to make it less dull, but it's easy to colorize it differently though :P

PS, is that 59 in the tray your battery level? and if so, how'd you get it to just show the percent? I hate having to hover over the battery icon to see the percentage :p

Eh, in my opinion it doesn't fit in with Windows 7 and it takes up a lot of space, but cool concept.

Have to agree about it taking up a lot of space, but it works pretty well on 16:9 type screens, because it leaves ~4:3 for the rest of the desktop

Ooh, I see. Do you like Chrome (I see you have it installed)? Strange, but on my PC it works not much faster than Firefox. Not to say about Opera. :)

It's pretty much the same speed for me too, but I discovered flashblock recently and chrome seems to be a bit lighter on my cpu.

Chrome runs much faster for me on my PC. I'm on dial-up though, so that must be why.
